I just wanted to personally thank you for taking the time to speak in support of our budget message on Tuesday. I’m really grateful that you hung in there through a long meeting and intense public comment period to give voice to the change we need in San Jose. And it worked—as you probably saw, we secured a 7-4 vote for a number of bold initiatives to move our city forward as a safer, cleaner, housed, and more opportunity-filled city. The final vote is in June, so we can’t stop now, but we’re on our way. Thank you again!
